Petersfield Youth Theatre pushes the boundaries of theatre for young people, offering experiences of the highest possible standard in a positive, creative and supportive environment. We were formed in 1990 and are a registered charity.

Following the launch of the Big Plan in spring 2007, Weekly Winners is PYT's major fundraising scheme to raise funds for The Space. The Space is going to provide a home for PYT as well as offering fantastic facilities to other community groups. The Space will be a place to make & create, develop skills and provide an infrastructure for people of all ages to make a cultural contribution to Petersfield.

Why Weekly Winners?

We are hoping that one high profile fundraising scheme will be more beneficial than an endless stream of different smaller events. If you choose to play by Standing Order, there's no fuss involved and you get the satisfaction of helping a local charity without really having to do very much. Unlike national schemes, there's also a much higher chance of you winning something!

What will the income be used for?

The funds raised will be used to make our dream of building a Community Arts Venue become a reality.

How does it work?

Weekly Winners is a subscription weekly draw. Each chance costs £1 and you can have as many chances as you like. The prize fund will be divided between first prize (25%), second prize (15%), third prize (10%) and The Space Fund (50%).

How much could I win?

The scheme works on the basis that the more people who play, the bigger the prize fund. So let's say 5,000 people subscribe, that means the following prizes will be won. 1st prize £1250, 2nd prize £750, 3rd prize £500.

How do I play?

There are two ways. Both require you to fill in the Application Form* (click to download), but you can pay in either of the following ways:

• Set up a quarterly Standing Order - we will receive £13 pounds from you each quarter, and enter you into 13 consecutive draws. We will repeat this process until you cancel the Standing Order.
• Send a cheque each quarter for £13. This will enter you into 13 consecutive draws and we will remind when you when your next payment is due (should you wish to keep playing).

For how many weeks can I play?

The minimum number of weeks is 13 (one quarter). If you choose to pay by Standing Order you can continue to play until you cancel. If you pay by cheque you play for 13 weeks at a time.

How will I know if I've won?

Not only will we let you know if you have won a prize, we will also keep you informed about our project and how your subscription to Weekly Winners is making a difference.

What if I want more than one chance to play each week?

You can buy more than one subscription. Providing that your subscription is coming from the same bank account or the same cheque you can make multiple applications using the same form. Multiple applications can all be in your name or you can choose the names of friends or family members.

Just remember - each bank account needs a different form.

Once we have received your form we will write to you confirm the date of the first draw you have been entered into and when your first standing order will be taken.
